1.	Courses form excluded combinations with other courses. Only one of the courses in an excluded combination can count towards a single HKMU award. 2.	The programmes of Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Studies and Bachelor of Science with Honours in Mathematical Studies will be phased out from 2021 Autumn term. The University will continue to confer the award of the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Studies and Bachelor of Science with Honours in Mathematical Studies up to December 2026. 數學理學士及數學榮譽理學士課程將於二○二一年秋季學期起停辦。本校於二○二六年十二月前仍繼續頒授數學理學士及數學榮譽理學士。
3.	Successful completion of MATH S101/ MATH S111 is considered as completion of MATH S121. 已修畢 MATH S101 / MATH S111 的學生，會視同已修畢 MATH S121。
4.	Successful completion of MATH S101/ MATH S112 is considered as completion of MATH S122. 已修畢 MATH S101 / MATH S112 的學生，會視同已修畢 MATH S122。
5.	Successful completion of MATH S203/MATH S213 is considered as completion of MATH S215 and MATH S216. However, MATH S203 may only be counted as 10 credits towards the BSCMS and BSCHMS programme. 已修畢 MATH S203 / MATH S213 的學生，會視同已修畢 MATH S215 和 MATH S216。惟校方只計算 MATH S203 其中10學分入此理學士及榮譽理學士課程。
6.	Successful completion of MATH S204/MATH S207 is considered as completion of MATH S221 and MATH S222. 已修畢 MATH S204 / MATH S207 的學生，會視同已修畢 MATH S221 和 MATH S222。
7.	Successful completion of MATH S245/MATH S246/MATH S248 is considered as completion of MATH S280. 已修畢 MATH S245 / MATH S246 / MATH S248 的學生，會視同已修畢 MATH S280。
8.	Successful completion of MATH S345 is considered as completion of MATH S346. 已修畢 MATH S345 的學生，會視同已修畢 MATH S346。
9.	Successful completion of MATH S371 is considered as completion of MATH S373. 已修畢 MATH S371 的學生，會視同已修畢 MATH S373。
10.	Successful completion of MATH S343 is considered as completion of MATH S350. 已修畢 MATH S343 的學生，會視同已修畢 MATH S350。
11.	Successful completion of MATH S322 is considered as completion of MATH S333.  However, MATH S322 may only be counted as 5 credits towards the BSCMS and BSCHMS programme. 已修畢 MATH S322 的學生，會視同已修畢 MATH S333。惟校方只計算 MATH S322 其中5學分入此理學士及榮譽理學士課程。
12.	Successful completion of MATH S361 is considered as completion of MATH S365. 已修畢 MATH S361 的學生，會視同已修畢 MATH S365。
